Back in Town For a While
It’s been a whirlwind two weeks of hectic packing, loading, packing, loading some more, shoveling out the moving truck, loading some more, cleaning, unloading the moving truck into storage, and settling with my Mom and Dad in Rapid City, SD, for a season. We couldn’t have done it without the help of the many, many family and friends who helped us out. I mean, SERIOUSLY, we are blessed! From our UMD friends, to Hillside Church friends, to Sioux Falls friends, family and youth workers (and their students), we’ve been overwhelmed by your kindness.
Our plan is to stay here through mid-June(-ish) and then transition to another medical school in the fall. It is looking like, at this point, it may be UND in Grand Forks, ND. Nothing’s certain, but at this point, it’s looking like it’s a pretty good possibility.
We’re so thankful Mom and Dad are opening up their home to us and allowing us this space and season to rest and recuperate a bit before going back into the  busyness that is medical school and stay-at-home Daddy-ing while working from home. We’re also looking forward to attending Destiny Foursquare Church, where we have so many good friendships from over the years. I believe it’s gonna be a great restorative time for all of us.
Welcome back to the ‘hood, Bro! Starbucks don’t stand a chance…..
Sure ‘nuf! 😀
